Global Graduates Programme: Cyber Security Analyst

What you will do:
Do you have a keen interest in security and always updating your security skills? Would you like to work in an environment where security is top priority? Then the Security Operations Center team is looking for you! The global team is 24/7 responsible for security monitoring, investigating and analyzing potential security incidents in the SWIFT infrastructures and networks.

Using a variety of security tools we are able to correlate various logs and detect suspicious or potential malicious behavior in our environment. Once a threat is identified containment actions will need to be defined and carried out where applicable.

SWIFT will be offering extensive cyber security trainings, amongst others SANS and SPLUNK, so that any team member can reach expert level.

As an engineer in the Security Operations Centre you will:
• keep up to date with the latest security and technology developments
• monitor for attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorized or illegal activity
• use advanced analytic tools to determine emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities
• investigate security alerts and provide incident response
• monitor identity and access management, including monitoring for abuse of permissions by authorized system users
• generate reports for both technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders
• monitor and respond to 'phishing' emails and 'pharming' activity

Qualifications:
• College or university graduate in any of the following area:
o Cyber/Information/Network Security
o Computer Science
o Software/Electrical/Network Engineering
• Fluent English in written and spoken
• Must be willing to work on weekends - 1 out of 5 weekends
• Eager to learn, keen interest in security, pro-active, enthusiastic, analytical, communicative, take initiative, investigative mindset and team player

Global Graduates Programme: Threat Intelligence Analyst

We are currently looking for a Junior Threat Intelligence Analyst. Have you just finished or are you about to finish your Bachelor or Master degree in languages, politics or security? Do you have a keen interest in threat intelligence in both the cyber and physical landscape? Then this role is the perfect match for you!

As a Junior Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will be involved in the acquisition, evaluation, analysis and assessment of threat intelligence. Your role as an intelligence analyst is to protect SWIFT security and its economic well-being, as well as to detect and prevent malicious acts against SWIFT staff, buildings and operations. Working to SWIFT requirements and priorities, you may be involved in providing support to corporate counter-espionage and disrupting threats.

Your work as an intelligence analyst will cover a diverse range of activities, dependent on the security teams remit and your role within the team. Activities may typically include:
• source assessment and dissemination of information/ research and analysis
• work closely with security analysts to identify security threats and address gaps in information
• analyse and report on threat landscape
• collating and validating threat intelligence, evaluating the reliability of sources and credibility of information
• developing relationships with customers to understand their threat intelligence requirements
• delivering information in formal reports, presentations and/ or briefings to senior management
• liaising and collaborating with private sector and government agencies to gather further information

Qualifications:
• Bachelor or Master Degree in languages, politics or security studies
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Additional language skills (i.e. Mandarin) and a multicultural background are considered a plus.
• Excellent skills in report-drafting, communication, stakeholder management and planning & organisation

What you will do:

The role:
We are currently seeking an entry-level Microsoft Windows systems administrator who will assist with the administration of the server and client systems, that includes but is not limited to imaging, application configurations, software update/upgrades, automated application ‎deployments, and troubleshooting hard- and software issues.

• Participates in the planning, coordination and execution of company-wide technology implementation efforts
• Identifies opportunities to optimize or change tools, processes, and procedures to improve the effectiveness and reduce risk to the environment. Recommend improvements to achieve greater efficiency, functionality and customer satisfaction
• Responds to and resolves issues reported related to supported software, hardware and other systems managed by the team.
• Participate in the review of problem situations and identification of opportunities for improvement to processes, procedures or tools

• May update existing training packages for internal use

Your qualifications:
• Degree in management of information systems, computer science or a combination of education and experiences from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Hold an MCSA- and preferably an MCSE certification – Server or Desktop Infrastructure, or is willing to obtain those certifications
• Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills and service oriented approach

Security Engineer

• Experience in a Windows, Unix and IP Networks based environment, in administration, testing or development
• Experience in Python, PowerShell or similar programming languages
• Knowledge of intrusion detection and vulnerability assessment capabilities is a plus
• Interest in emerging technologies and threats in the cyber security
• Strong analytical and communication skills
