Multiplex Assay R&D

Job description

This project aims at developing and validating performance of a new qPCR master mix and multiplexed version of our qPCR genotyping plate. You will help us to improve our current genotyping systems, and in this way, you will contribute to better patient care and lower testing costs.

The internship is paid and fulltime. Prospective students will be considered for a job position within the company after graduation.


Skills and abilities

• A highly motivated individual interested in developing molecular diagnostic products of complex gene systems and improving the design of existing qPCR systems
• Good theoretical knowledge in relevant field such as HLA genes or polymorphic gene analysis, genomics, nucleic acid analysis, sequencing, gene amplification, molecular cloning, qPCR and digital PCR
• Ability to work independently and cooperate effectively within a team
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet scheduled deadlines
• Ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally, using proper English grammar

Novel Biomarkers R&D

Job description

During this project you will contribute to the development of novel biomarker assays which may be clinically useful in characterizing disease relapse after stem cell transplantation. You will explore new technologies and employ creative solutions to overcome current technological limitations in molecular diagnostic products. This will lead to improved diagnostic solutions for monitoring recipients of stem cell transplants.

Job description

The aim of this project is to generate and characterize novel control DNAs and DNA mixtures for use in R&D, production, tech support and QC. You will contribute to the improvement of our current development and testing standards using qPCR, dPCR, NGS or other advanced technologies. You will be working with human DNA specimens and this work will be carried out under biosafety level 2 conditions.

The internship is paid and fulltime. Prospective students will be considered for a job position within the company after graduation.

• Prior experience working with human specimens is required

Job description

As an intern, you will contribute to the proper functioning of our software for genotyping and quantification testing. This software is used by various laboratories to setup assays, generate result reports and analyze data of genotyping and quantification experiments. You will establish and execute software test scripts for commercial and prototype software. Work with Directors of Software and Reagent R&D team. You will learn about development and testing of software which intended to be used in a regulated environment.

• Affinity with computers and basic programming skills
