Bio Science Park Excursion
The Bio Science Park Excursion offers a unique insight into local companies of the Leiden Bio Science Park. It enables students to explore future career paths and creates an insight into different jobs in the bioscience sector. During the event, professionals show their work and workplace to students and presentations by start-ups complement the program.

Why Bio Science Park Excursion?
Students get the choice to visit one of five companies per round, for a total of two rounds. They can choose if they want to attend a visit during one of the two rounds, or for both rounds. The visit provides an opportunity to ask questions to company members and to get to know potential future employers and companies.
Besides, start-ups get the chance to present themselves in presentations, which allows them to create a greater visibility amongst students.
At the end of the day there will be a networking reception, which is a great chance for future employers and future employees to get to know each other.
What to expect
Start-ups
Several Start-ups of the Leiden Bio Science are presented. Students will learn what life is like at a start-up or how to create their own.
Company visits
The Leiden Bio Science Park professionals show their workplace to students and tell them about their careers and daily work.
Networking
Students and several professionals come together during network drinks. Here, professionals can share their experience with the students.
